Whitney, the comeback?

Whitney Houston and her naughty, divorce-fodder soon-to-be ex-husband Bobby Brown
First Whitney Houston dumped her no-good husband Bobby Brown last week and now she is planning to relaunch her singing career.
The star, 43, is believed to have successfully completed an exhaustive stint in a California rehab clinic and is hoping to make a fresh start.
She allegedly spoke to record bosses about a return. If it happens it would surely go down in music history as the greatest comeback ever.
A source close to the pop star said: 'She is serious about it. She is feeling good and wants to kick-start her career.'
And the first step was to divorce her husband of 14 years. 'She feels he is a bad influence and wants him out of her life.
'There are no illusions here, Whitney knows it will be tough and she understands there have been false dawns before but she wants it badly.'
But the divorce might not be so simple. Houston's insiders are mostly worried that Brown will interfere with her plans. The singer has filed for separation using an address in South California, which insiders say is really a rehab clinic.
The singer, who owns homes in Georgia and New York has been staying at the centre since April but the state requires six-month residency before she can legally divorce. It is feared Brown may try to change her mind before the split goes through next month.
